Kristen Lippstreu works with corporations, trade associations, political committees, lobbying firms, nonprofit organizations, and individuals to ensure compliance with federal and state lobbying registration and reporting requirements, campaign finance laws, ethics obligations, and gift restrictions. Clients benefit from her experience and understanding of lobbying registration and reporting rules at the federal, state, and local levels of government, including her mastery of California’s complex Political Reform Act.
She also works with The Gober Group’s attorneys and operations team to create, implement, and continually improve the firm’s systems to ensure client filings are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with the various jurisdictional requirements.
Prior to joining The Gober Group, Kristen managed Nielsen Merksamer’s California-Federal Political Reporting Unit. In this role, she oversaw the filings of 120-150 campaign and lobby reports on a recurring basis, and she coordinated compliance and legal services for various corporations and individuals, including PG&E Corporation, Exxon Corporation, “Big Four” Accounting Firms, Wells Fargo, American Beverage Association, and Paramount Pictures.
